The Flying Jalopy refers to the Disney animated short starring Donald Duck. The Last Of The V8 Interceptors, aka the Pursuit Special (All Movies Except Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome) Maxs black V8 Interceptor is as closely associated with the Mad Max franchise as the Australian desert, and it appeared in all the films except for Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. The plane later flies into a dust storm and flies into the ruins of Sydney, where it delivers the Lost Children that start civilization anew. Max clears the way and The Flying Jalopy takes off. The plane hits Max with one of its wheels and successfully knocks him off the vehicle. It glides through the air with its engine off to attack an unsuspecting driver of The Camel Wagon - Max. The Flying Jalopy is first seen in the opening scene of Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. Differently colored panels emulate patched elements of the fuselage, the cabin is equipped with various additional makeshift items and instruments.
